Description
Union County is soliciting proposals from developers, nonprofit organizations, and HOME-ARP sponsors to provide affordable housing and social services for qualifying populations under the American Rescue Plan. Eligible activities include affordable housing development and support, tenant-based rental assistance, supportive services, and acquisition and development of non-congregate shelter units. Approximately $1,300,000 is expected to be available. Proposals must address all information requested in the application package. Projects involving relocation must include a one-page relocation-plan summary and required General Information Notices with proof of certified-mail delivery and receipt. Applicants must comply with applicable HOME-ARP, environmental-review, relocation, recordkeeping, and New Jersey requirements.
