Description
The County of Maui is soliciting construction services to resurface outdoor basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts at four park locations. The work includes site protection, surface preparation, concrete moisture testing, crack repair, correction of birdbaths and drainage deficiencies, primer, acrylic resurfacing and color coating, court striping, curing, cleanup, and final inspection. The contractor must use a complete manufacturer-approved acrylic surfacing system, provide product and applicator documentation, and furnish a minimum one-year workmanship warranty plus the manufacturer's standard material warranty. The project must be completed within 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed, with work performed sequentially at one site at a time. Bidders must submit the completed and signed proposal, subcontractor listing, bid breakdown, and bid security through the designated online procurement system. A bid bond or other permitted bid security equal to at least 5% of the total bid is required. Performance and payment bonds are also required at 100% of the contract price after award.
