Description
The County of Maui Department of Public Works is soliciting bids for the Piilani Highway Slope Stabilization project at Nuanualoa Gulch, MP 36.5, on the island of Maui, Hawaii. The project involves stabilizing a slope along the highway through rock slope scaling, installation of grouted soil nails and vertical anchors, application of reinforced shotcrete, and installation of erosion control measures including anchored erosion control mats and sediment retention wattles. The work also includes clearing, excavation, hot mix asphalt pavement, traffic control, and mobilization. The project has a completion time of 150 working days from the Notice to Proceed. A bid bond is required with the proposal.
