The County of Maui, Department of Water Supply, is soliciting bids for the furnishing and delivery of one (1) 1-ton 4x4 pickup truck with a service body, pipe rack, and lift gate. The vehicle must meet detailed minimum specifications including a 6.4-liter V8 engine, 11,000 lb GVW rating, automatic transmission, 4x4 drive, and various safety and performance features. The service body must be heavy-duty all-steel construction with specific dimensions and features, and the pipe rack must be bolted to the body with specific materials and dimensions. The lift gate must have a 1300 lb lifting capacity. The truck must be delivered fully assembled and operational to the DWS Baseyard at 614 Palapala Drive in Kahului, Maui. Delivery is required within 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted electronically via the Public Purchase System by the specified deadline.
