Description
The County of Maui, Department of Water Supply, is soliciting bids for one new, current-year-production, undemonstrated 4x4 standard-cab truck with a minimum 16,500-pound GVW rating, equipped with a steel service body and electric-hydraulic crane. The revised specifications require a minimum 6.7-liter turbo-diesel engine, automatic transmission, dual alternators, specified heavy-duty suspension and braking components, tow equipment, safety equipment, fleet-white finish, rust-proofing, and the manufacturer's standard warranty. The steel crane body must include specified dimensions, compartmentation, shelving, reinforcement, lighting, and protective coatings. The crane must have a 3,500-pound maximum capacity, 12,000 foot-pound rating, 16-foot maximum reach, electric-hydraulic power, corded and wireless controls, and manual outriggers. The bidder must complete and submit the revised questionnaire with its offer; failure to do so may result in rejection as nonresponsive or nonresponsible. Addendum No. 1 replaces the minimum specifications and questionnaire and changes the wheelbase, rear axle, service body, crane capacity, crane rating, maximum reach, and crane controls.
