Description
Maui County is soliciting one new, current-year, undemonstrated 37,600-GVWR dump truck for its Department of Public Works Highways Division, including an 8-cubic-yard dump body. The truck must meet extensive minimum specifications covering the cab and chassis, engine, transmission, axles, brakes, tires, hydraulic dump system, tailgate, tarp system, safety equipment, corrosion protection, and related equipment. It must be delivered fully assembled and operational, with all fluids, oil, and fuel tanks filled. Bidders must complete the offer form and questionnaire in full detail, provide standard and extended warranty information, include the manufacturer's warranty, and provide information for a factory-authorized service and repair facility located on Maui. The award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder based on the lowest net total outright purchase price. A bid bond and performance bond are not required. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Public Purchase system by the stated deadline.
