Description
The County of Maui is soliciting construction services to furnish and install a new 500 kW, 480/277-volt, three-phase standby diesel generator system at the South Maui Gym. The work includes the generator, weather-protected enclosure, 850-gallon double-wall sub-base fuel tank, automatic transfer switch, generator pad, security fencing, electrical connections, controls, testing, and commissioning. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, permits, bonds, insurance, and incidental work. The awarded contractor must complete the project within 315 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed, provide a one-year service agreement and two-year equipment warranty, conduct factory and on-site load testing, furnish operation and maintenance manuals, and provide at least eight hours of on-site training. Bidders must submit the completed and signed Proposal, bid security, subcontractor listing, bid breakdown, and any applicable apprenticeship preference form through the designated procurement website.
