Description
The Town of Plainfield is soliciting proposals for the design and installation of awnings at its Town Hall and Police Department buildings. The awnings must reduce hazards caused by snow sliding from roofs, prevent snow from accumulating against doorways, and comply with applicable building codes and inspections. The scope includes preparing design and construction documents needed for building permits; installation and all related preparation or incidental work; cleaning and restoration of disturbed areas; and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and permit requirements. Proposals must include a lump-sum price for each building, a technical proposal, project approach and schedule, proposed personnel and subcontractors, relevant project references, required corporate or organizational resolution, proof of good standing in Connecticut, the completed bid form, and applicable contract-compliance documentation. Insurance certificates are required only from the awarded bidder.
