Description
The University of Montana–Montana Tech's Sherry Lesar School of Nursing is considering a sole-source contract with Elevate Healthcare for an Evo modular adult patient simulator, Caucasian configuration, Evo Diversity Kit, starter package, and on-site training. The simulator would support high-fidelity nursing education, including airway management, circulation, medication administration, patient assessment, communication, teamwork, clinical judgment, and complex decision-making. The proposed Evo simulator must integrate with the nursing simulation center's existing Elevate Healthcare LearningSpace and Maestro platforms, Apollo, Lucina, and Aria simulators, SimEquip Ventilator, and SimDefibrillator systems. The justification cites preservation of existing faculty training, scenarios, workflows, software and equipment interoperability, modular repairability, cloud-based fleet management, real-time physiological responses, and a five-year manufacturer's warranty. This is an intent to sole source rather than a request for competitive proposals; vendors may submit a written challenge describing an equivalent product and services.
