Description
NASA's Toxicology Group seeks external experts to review existing guidelines used to establish safety standards for air and water quality in spaceflight and to evaluate Johnson Space Center toxicology policies. The work includes assessing the appropriateness of current guidelines and recommending specific updates or modifications, supported by examples and references to relevant approaches. The effort is structured in two phases: coordinating a peer-review panel within six months of contract initiation, followed by delivery of a report with reviewer recommendations within nine months of contract initiation. The notice states that quotes will not be accepted; respondents should submit capability statements. NASA intends to issue a sole-source contract to SciPinion LLC, while using responses to determine whether the requirement should instead be competed.
