Description
The City and County of Butte-Silver Bow is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase and delivery of materials for dead-end water main projects on six streets: Continental Drive, Gregson Street, Hecla Street, Irene Street, Josephine Street, and Hancock Street. The materials include C900 PVC pipe in six- and eight-inch sizes; gate valves; tees, elbows, sleeves, and transition fittings; fire hydrants with Storz connections; valve boxes; Megalug restraints; bolt packs with gaskets; tracer wire; and water-bury tape. Quantities and unit-price bid lines are provided for each street, and the buyer may purchase varying quantities at the quoted unit prices. Materials must conform to the Butte-Silver Bow Material Specifications for Water Mains, Service Lines, and Fire Lines, 2015 Edition. Prices must include delivery to the Public Works Department Maintenance and Service Center, and all materials must be delivered by December 1, 2026. Bids require security of at least 10 percent of the aggregate bid, and the successful bidder must furnish construction performance and payment bonds. A completed Penal Sum Form must accompany the bid bond, with bonding documents attached to the front of the bid package.
