Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole-source procurement for four Cadwell Easy III polysomnography systems to replace a discontinued and unsupported system at the Fort Harrison VA Sleep Lab. The requirement includes amplifiers, cameras, acquisition workstations, scoring software, HL7 interfaces, installation, and training. The notice states that Cadwell is the only responsible source meeting the VA’s required physiological channel integration, HL7 V2.x MLLP workflow compatibility, network and security constraints, signal-channel and audiovisual synchronization requirements, latency and VLAN/QoS requirements, and export-format standards. This is a notice of intent rather than a request for competitive quotes; interested parties must submit capability information demonstrating their ability to meet the stated requirements.
