Description
The Montana Department of Transportation is soliciting a contractor or individual caretaker to maintain the Lyons Creek Truck Parking Area. Services include daily or scheduled cleaning of vault toilets, picnic tables, park benches, sidewalks, plaza areas, grounds, parking areas, and garbage containers; litter and graffiti removal; lawn mowing, edging, tree and shrub trimming; pressure washing; minor fixture repairs and replacements; pedestrian walkway snow and ice removal; and maintenance of the storage shed, first-aid supplies, and safety materials. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, tools, water, and supplies not furnished by the Department, maintain daily logs, report incidents and hazards, remain available for emergencies, and coordinate regularly with the Department. The initial purchase-order term runs from contract execution through July 31, 2027, with possible one-year extensions for up to seven total years, subject to mutual agreement and legislative appropriations. The solicitation includes seasonal monthly pricing for May through September and October through April. Montana prevailing-wage requirements apply to covered nonconstruction services, and the contractor must comply with applicable licensing, safety, sanitation, and subcontracting requirements.
