Description
The State of Montana, State Procurement Services Division, on behalf of the Montana Department of Transportation, is soliciting bids for replacement of the Helena Shop boiler system. The project requires furnishing and installing two Lochinvar Crest FB1501 boilers with individual circulators, lock-up gas regulators, a building management system gateway, condensate neutralization kit, and common vent damper kit. The work includes removal and replacement of heating-water supply and return piping, installation of valves, gauges, wells, drains, insulation, labels, pumps and related components, modification of the gas supply and pressure regulation, construction of a second mechanical pad, installation of a combined boiler exhaust flue, electrical integration, emergency-shutdown integration, controls integration, system flushing and cleaning, glycol refill, certified manufacturer startup, and owner training. The quoted work is to be completed by December 31, 2026.
