Description
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, through its Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Use Services, seeks a vendor to develop a standardized core competency curriculum for current and prospective Direct Support Professionals. The curriculum must address specified state regulatory and Medicaid competency areas, include a crosswalk showing where each competency is covered, and incorporate interpersonal violence training developed in consultation with the Division. The proposed curriculum must provide 36–50 hours of instruction and be accessible online, in English and Spanish, and to participants who are Deaf or hard of hearing, including captions, transcripts, and American Sign Language as applicable. It must be delivered in a non-proprietary format compatible with various learning management systems. The vendor must submit a technical approach, project organization and schedule, pricing, and required completed forms and references. Deliverables include an initial curriculum and a revised curriculum incorporating the agency’s requested revisions. The contract has an initial one-year term, with work beginning within 15 days of execution.
