Description
Buffalo Public Schools is seeking a professional learning partner to strengthen instructional rigor, cognitive complexity, academic discourse, student engagement, and achievement through the Erik M. Francis Depth of Knowledge Framework. The scope includes professional development for teachers, administrators, and instructional coaches; job-embedded and after-hours learning; on-site and virtual coaching; instructional walkthroughs; leadership development; professional learning community facilitation; school improvement planning support; and data review. The three-phase implementation model covers foundation and capacity building in Year 1, coaching and implementation support in Year 2, and train-the-trainer sustainability in Year 3. Deliverables include facilitator guides, coaching protocols, training resources, sustainability plans, and other capacity-building tools. Proposals must address organizational background, technical approach, implementation and coaching models, personnel and curricula vitae, references, and a detailed budget. The Year 1 phase is identified at $250,000-$300,000, with later phases subject to contract extension and funding.
