Description
Wake County seeks North Carolina Certified Industrial Hygienist consulting firms to provide hazardous materials testing, design, and monitoring services for renovation projects and property due diligence on an as-needed basis. Work may include building assessments and material inventories, bulk sampling and laboratory testing, findings reports and remediation recommendations, demolition and abatement bid documents, cost estimates, agency approvals, air monitoring, construction administration and inspections, and project close-out assistance. The selected firms will coordinate with architects and engineers and help administer abatement work to verify compliance with contract documents and applicable requirements. The County intends to select at least two and no more than three consulting teams for a base agreement, with project-specific amendments defining each assignment's scope, schedule, construction budget, and fees. Respondents must submit a qualifications package covering their team, key personnel, at least five comparable projects, technical approach, and professional fees. The package is limited to 20 single-sided pages or 10 double-sided pages, excluding covers, the table of contents, and tab pages; five complete hard-copy packages and a PDF copy on a thumb drive are required.
