Description
The Department of National Defence is seeking one intermediate instructor, or an English- and French-speaking instructor team, to deliver its government-owned Management of Test and Evaluation for Technical Authorities course. The contractor must provide training in English and French using adult-education techniques, in classroom and virtual environments, for DND and Canadian Armed Forces personnel. The scope includes course delivery, class administration, attendance reporting, student-evaluation reminders, course-performance reports, and participation in requested rehearsals, pilot courses, reviews, and meetings. DND will provide the course materials, facilities or virtual platform, and related student and training support. The contract is an as-and-when-requested task-authorization arrangement for five years, with an estimated 265 instructor-days and up to 12 three-day course deliveries per year. Proposed resources must demonstrate bilingual capability, at least three years of engineering experience involving defence-system test and evaluation, and qualifying adult-education course-delivery experience. Personnel requiring access to controlled workplaces must hold Reliability Status, and the contractor must maintain a valid Designated Organization Screening. Training will primarily occur at the Materiel Management Training Centre in Gatineau, Quebec, within the National Capital Region, with possible delivery elsewhere in Canada or virtually.
