The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation is issuing a Request for Information regarding the potential development, management, and execution of a comprehensive training program and communities of practice. The program would serve large and small urban and rural public transportation providers throughout the Commonwealth, along with technical and non-technical audiences, to strengthen workforce skills and competencies in alignment with industry standards and best practices and promote lifelong learning within the transit industry.
