Description
Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive sealed bids for the liquidation and collection of granular fertilizer produced by the Department of Water Resources. The estimated quantity is 250 tons annually for each of five contract periods, from award through December 31, 2026, and annually from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2030. The fertilizer is offered on an as-is basis, with typical nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium content of 5-28-0; quantities and weights are estimates, and payment is based on quoted price per ton and certified weight slips. The awarded bidder must supply bags and associated bagging materials, and provide the labor, equipment, and transportation needed to remove the material from the County facility. Pickups are driven by production volume and storage capacity rather than a fixed calendar schedule. The bidder must provide advance notice before pickup, submit payment through the specified monthly ACH process, and provide certified weight slips and related payment documentation. A completed Bid Schedule and Code of Ethics Affidavit are required with the bid; insurance may be requested before material removal, subject to the stated coverage requirements.
