Description
DeKalb County’s Department of Public Works, Roads & Drainage Division, is soliciting sealed bids for the regular supply of specified hot mix asphaltic concrete materials for county roadway repairs. The awarded supplier must operate a plant in DeKalb County or within 15 miles outside the county, provide materials Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and for emergency requests on Sundays during those hours, load County trucks, issue weight tickets, and provide itemized invoices. Materials must comply with applicable Georgia Department of Transportation specifications, including requirements for fine-graded mixtures and related asphaltic concrete construction. The contract is an indefinite-quantity, five-year multiyear arrangement with no guaranteed minimum quantity and may be awarded by line item or to multiple suppliers. The price schedule includes multiple asphalt mix types, lime additives, and an emergency pickup fee. Bidders must provide three similar project references from the previous four years, complete the required vendor questionnaire and affidavits, and submit the required First Source Jobs documentation where applicable. Bids must be submitted through the County’s eProcurement Portal by September 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time; pricing must appear only in the designated price schedule section.
