Description
Gwinnett County Public Schools is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified suppliers for on-demand network cabling services. The work includes furnishing and installing voice/data cabling infrastructure, communications conduits, raceways, cable trays, racks, cabinets, equipment mounting boards, grounding and bonding, and related labor, materials, equipment, tools, testing, and verification. Projects will be assigned as needed, may be split among multiple suppliers, and are non-exclusive with no guaranteed volume. The initial term runs from October 21, 2026, or upon award, through October 20, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewals. Contractors must be full-service communications contractors specializing in the design, fabrication, and installation of integrated communications systems and power distribution systems. No subcontracting is allowed. Requirements include a Georgia electrical license, manufacturer authorization, an RCDD on staff involved with each project, at least three references including at least one K-12 reference, compliance with applicable communications and electrical standards, shop drawings and material submittals, and system testing and acceptance documentation. Responses must include the required qualifications statement, questionnaire, pricing sheet, certifications, and supporting documentation.
