Description
The City of Lawrenceville is soliciting competitive sealed bids for the Lawrenceville Pedestrian Improvements 2026 project. The work includes traffic control, erosion-control best management practices, site clearing and grading, concrete paving for sidewalks, curb and gutter, driveways, and ADA ramps, thermoplastic striping, 42-inch handrail installation, demolition, and haul-off. Contractor-furnished equipment and materials must be installed as shown in the drawings and specifications, and the work must comply with applicable federal, state, local, and Georgia Department of Transportation requirements. Addendum 1 clarifies that a subcontractor may hold the required utility license in lieu of the general contractor, and that a Georgia Commercial General Contractor License may replace the Underground Utility Contractor's License. The addendum must be acknowledged in the bid; failure to acknowledge it may render the bid nonresponsive.
