Description
DeKalb County is soliciting sealed bids for on-call electrical services throughout the County, including inspections, maintenance, repairs, alterations, replacements, and installations involving high- and low-voltage wiring systems, equipment, fixtures, controls, panels, transformers, motors, and related components. The contractor must provide all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, parts, and supplies, including boom trucks, personnel lifts, scaffolding, and specialized ladders as needed. The indefinite-quantity, as-ordered contract requires 24/7 emergency response capability, response to emergency requests within one hour, and field response within three hours. Standard and high-priority requests require estimates, work plans, authorizations, service reports, and detailed invoicing. Bidders must have at least five years of commercial and industrial electrical experience, capacity to handle at least five simultaneous service requests, at least one in-house personnel lift or bucket truck, a primary office within 30 miles of DeKalb County, and a current Georgia Electrical Contractor License Class II. The bid also requires three recent references, mandatory LSBE participation or good-faith-efforts documentation, First Source Jobs documentation, and the specified licenses, affidavits, forms, and certifications.
