Description
Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified service providers for on-call, as-needed wrecker services supporting the Gwinnett County Police Department, Sheriff's Office, and Fleet Management Division. The scope includes light/medium-duty and heavy-duty towing, removal of wrecked, disabled, abandoned, or impounded vehicles, vehicle impound storage, roadway and debris clearance, recovery and cargo removal, and related vehicle assistance. Public Safety services are divided among six districts, while Fleet Management services are countywide; proposers may submit for one or more service categories, and the County may make multiple awards and establish rotational provider lists. Providers must maintain a Gwinnett County office and storage facility, operate 24/7, meet specified response times, maintain required towing equipment and vehicle capacity, employ appropriately licensed personnel, and satisfy minimum experience, facility, equipment, regulatory, insurance, and reference requirements. The proposal must include qualifications, equipment and ownership documentation, facility information, applicable affidavits and certificates, references, pricing-schedule acknowledgment, and the required attachments. The initial term is one year with four additional one-year renewal options, and award does not guarantee a minimum volume or contract value.
