Description
The City of San Ramon is soliciting proposals for comprehensive access control, intrusion/security monitoring, and security camera services across 16 city facilities. The scope includes assessment, design, installation, integration, migration, monitoring, maintenance, repair, training, and ongoing support for access control hardware and software, intrusion systems, duress buttons, existing cameras, and 68 new cameras. The proposed solution must support integration with the City's on-premises Active Directory environment, centralized cloud-based camera management, access for authorized City staff, the police department, and the monitoring provider, and off-site video and audio retention for at least one year. New cameras must provide at least 4K resolution, and the contractor must provide three years of on-site support with annual renewal options, including 24-hour emergency and 48-hour non-emergency on-site response targets. The City may award all, some, or none of the services and may make multiple awards. Proposals must address qualifications, comparable experience, staffing, subcontractors, licenses and certifications, pricing, and a proposed implementation approach. The proposal is limited to 15 one-sided pages, excluding permitted appendices such as resumes and the price schedule. Performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the awarded one-time installation price, are required from the successful respondent before agreement execution.
