The City of Arlington is soliciting an annual requirements contract for continuous monitoring, dispatch, maintenance, repair, testing, and inspection services for 43 security alarm systems and 17 fire alarm systems at City-owned Parks, Recreation, and Culture facilities. The contractor must provide 24/7/365 monitoring through a UL-certified central station, security-alarm response within 24 hours, fire-alarm response within three hours, emergency repairs, preventive maintenance for security systems, and annual NFPA 72-compliant fire alarm inspections. The scope includes weekly activity and open/close reporting, electronic inspection reports, compliance submissions through Brycer—The Compliance Engine or another directed application, coordination of alarm call lists, communication-failure notifications, and warranty support. Fire and security alarm service and repairs may not be subcontracted; monitoring may be subcontracted only to a UL-listed provider located in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Proposals are evaluated on technical approach, emergency response and maintenance, monitoring/reporting/compliance, company experience and qualifications, and cost.
