Description
Tennessee Technological University is requesting quotations for metal fabrication services and the ability to purchase various styles and sizes of raw metal products. Bidders must provide hourly rates for skilled and unskilled labor; evaluation will use 100 skilled-labor hours and 20 unskilled-labor hours for evaluation purposes only and does not guarantee actual work. Materials and supplies will be reimbursed at cost plus a 15% markup, with supporting vendor invoices required and no markup permitted on taxes, freight, delivery charges, administrative fees, surcharges, or other indirect costs unless approved in writing. The resulting contract will begin upon final signature and remain in effect for five years. Prices are firm for the first year, after which annual increases may be requested with documentation. The contractor must be capable of dispatching qualified personnel to the university campus and must comply with requirements concerning travel, work-site check-in, inspection and acceptance, invoicing, insurance, debarment, and subcontractor use. The bid form must be completed and signed, and bids may be mailed, faxed, or emailed to the RFQ Coordinator by the stated deadline.
