Description
The Rhode Island Air National Guard requires one prefabricated lifted platform for delivery only to the 143d Maintenance Group at Quonset Air National Guard Base. Amendment 0001 confirms that installation is not required, formally extends the quote deadline, incorporates government responses to vendor questions, and revises the salient characteristics. The lower deck surface is amended to none; the top flooring remains grate, bar, or expanded flooring open to permit sprinkler suppression below. The firm-fixed-price purchase includes a single-level, open-deck platform approximately 22 feet by 18 feet, with a 125.25-inch overall deck height, specified under-clearances, 125 PSF uniform live-load capacity, 2,000-pound concentrated-load capacity, seismic design, and industrial-finished structural steel components. The platform must include at least 68 linear feet of OSHA-compliant double-rail safety handrail with kickplates, one 125.25-inch steel vertical safety ladder, and two adjustable double-rail drop-safety gates. Quotes must include delivery, a proposed delivery date, detailed technical specifications demonstrating compliance with the salient characteristics, three similar contracts completed within the past five years with customer points of contact, and formal acknowledgment of Amendment 0001. New items only are permitted; refurbished, remanufactured, and gray-market items are prohibited.
