Description
P+C Construction, the design-build firm for Chemeketa Community College, is requesting qualifications and cost proposals from subcontractors for the engineering, supply, and erection of a pre-engineered metal building for a new 12,000-square-foot Trades Center. The scope is identified as Division 13 34 19, Metal Building Systems, and includes development of schedules, preparation of estimates, value engineering, and coordination and communication through the design and construction phases. Proposers must submit the completed forms and information included in the solicitation package, addressing company and experience, safety, cost proposal, and project approach, schedule, and procurement. Proposals will be evaluated on overall value, including higher-education market experience, safety, pricing assumptions, project approach, schedule, bonding capacity, bond costs, and financial resources. The project is subject to Oregon prevailing-wage requirements, and proposers must be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board and hold the licensing and bonding required for public projects in Oregon. P+C is seeking participation from minority, women, disadvantaged, and emerging small business enterprises.
