Description
Dallas College is soliciting bids from qualified suppliers to establish a price agreement for cut steel and various metal products purchased on an as-needed basis for instructional programs and minor building repairs. Representative items include mild-steel flat stock, hot- and cold-rolled sheet and plate, aluminum and stainless-steel plate, mild-steel pipe, angle, square tubing, and channel. Suppliers must provide unit pricing for each listed item, along with any applicable discounts, shearing, bending, other charges, delivery time, delivery charges, and pickup availability. Additional products within the solicitation scope may be purchased at pricing and terms consistent with the submitted bid. The agreement has a one-year initial term from the award or effective date, whichever is later, with four possible one-year renewals, for a maximum term of five years. Purchases will be made through written purchase orders on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed quantities, minimum orders, or minimum dollar amount. Dallas College may establish a supplier pool and award to multiple suppliers. Suppliers must maintain an established business location within Dallas County and deliver materials to locations specified on purchase orders. Materials must be new, unused, defect-free, properly packaged, and compliant with applicable standards. The completed supplier price sheet and solicitation documents must be submitted electronically through Workday Strategic Sourcing; emailed and late submissions are not accepted.
