Description
The University of Utah's Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute is seeking one or more qualified research firms to provide survey, qualitative, and quantitative research services on an as-needed basis. The scope may include telephone, online, mixed-mode, direct-mail, and on-site surveys; address-based sampling; focus-group recruiting and full focus-group services; in-depth interviews; sample and questionnaire design; statistical programming; research evaluation; data collection; coding; reporting; and analysis. Example work includes statewide and regional surveys involving Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming; focus groups involving Salt Lake County residents; and ongoing monthly address-based sampling. Vendors must submit a technical proposal addressing company approach, university and regional experience, personnel, facilities, sampling methods, data handling, qualitative research capabilities, mixed methods, and related qualifications. A separate cost proposal must be submitted using Attachment A, with pricing for the specified telephone, online, focus-group, and address-based sampling scenarios. The anticipated contract term is five years, with potential multiple awards.
