Description
The University of Utah, on behalf of the Utah Education and Telehealth Network consortium, is soliciting proposals under RFP #UU220560030 for leased lit-fiber Ethernet WAN services, shared UETN backbone connections, standalone Internet access, and Category One network equipment. Requested bandwidths range from 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps, including Internet access from 50 Gbps to 100 Gbps. Wireless service is not accepted, and dark fiber is excluded unless specifically requested. WAN and backbone pricing is requested for five years with one optional one-year extension, while Internet access pricing must cover three years with two sequential one-year extensions. Vendors must provide firm, all-inclusive recurring and non-recurring pricing in the applicable cost proposal attachment, submit separate cost documents, and respond to all applicable RFP sections. Required response materials include the applicable WAN or Internet access cost proposal attachment, Attachment F, the Exception/Compliance Summary, and acknowledgment of addenda. Proposals must be submitted electronically through BidNet Direct; multiple awards may be made by location. E-Rate-supported vendors must have a USAC-issued SPIN and maintain a current FCC Form 473/SPAC.
