Description
The University of Utah, on behalf of the Utah Education and Telehealth Network consortium, is soliciting proposals for leased lit-fiber Ethernet wide-area-network services, shared backbone connections, Internet access, and related Category One network equipment. Services will be provided at locations identified in the solicitation attachments, with requested capacities ranging from 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps and Internet access capacities from 50 Gbps to 100 Gbps. Wireless is not accepted, and dark fiber is excluded unless specifically requested. WAN and backbone pricing is requested for five years with one optional one-year extension, while Internet access pricing is requested for three years with two sequential one-year extensions, subject to location-specific terms. Vendors must submit applicable cost proposals separately from the technical proposal, acknowledge addenda, and meet stated E-Rate, registration, compliance, and infrastructure requirements. Multiple awards may be made by location or service.
