Description
The University of Utah, on behalf of the Utah Education and Telehealth Network consortium, is soliciting proposals under RFP #UU220560030 for leased lit-fiber Ethernet WAN services, shared UETN backbone connections, Internet access, and Category One network equipment. The solicitation covers multiple service requests ranging from 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps, including 433 1-Gbps data-transmission circuits, 85 10-Gbps circuits, additional data-transmission services, Internet access from 50 Gbps to 100 Gbps, and network equipment for applicable locations. Installation and initial configuration are required. WAN and backbone pricing is requested for five years with one optional one-year extension, while Internet access pricing is requested for three years with two sequential one-year extensions, except where an attachment specifies a different term. Lit fiber is preferred; wireless is not accepted, and dark fiber is not accepted unless specifically requested. Vendors must provide firm, all-inclusive recurring and non-recurring pricing, submit applicable cost proposals separately from the technical proposal, and comply with the RFP, Attachments A, B, and F, the Exception/Compliance Summary, addenda, E-Rate requirements, and applicable procurement rules. Multiple awards may be made by location.
