Description
The Inverness Metropolitan Improvement District is soliciting formal bids for Regional Trail Improvements Phase 2. The work includes approximately 850 cubic yards of earthwork, including 600 cubic yards of export material; removal of approximately 350 square yards of six-inch concrete sidewalk and replacement with approximately 475 cubic yards of six-inch fiber-mesh concrete sidewalk; removal or relocation of approximately 12 mature trees; and associated grading, erosion control, and sediment control best management practices. Bids must be submitted on the prescribed form with a certified check or bid bond of at least 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish additional performance bonds as required by the contract documents and hold or obtain all legally required contractor and business licenses. Award will consider qualifications, ability to complete the project timely, and total bid amount.
