Description
The City of Warner Robins is seeking a contractor to furnish, deliver, plant, establish, and maintain 27 trees—14 bald cypress and 13 red cedar—along a 400-foot section of the Robins West Parkway right-of-way. The work includes supplying nursery stock meeting specified size, health, structural, and ANSI standards; site preparation; planting; staking when warranted; mulching; watering; traffic control; debris removal; site restoration; and coordination of utility locates and planting schedules. The contractor must provide nursery source information during the bid process and photographs documenting site conditions before and after work. The contractor must complete the work within 30 days of award and provide a one-year establishment period beginning at final acceptance. Weekly watering, monitoring, correction of planting deficiencies, and replacement of trees that die or fail to establish are required during the warranty period. Proposals are evaluated on experience and qualifications, compliance with specifications, tree-stock quality and source, schedule, warranty maintenance capability, local presence, and cost.
