The BC Timber Sales Kamloops Business Area is offering Timber Sale Licence TA2239 for sale. The licence covers an estimated area of 75.2 hectares with a total estimated timber volume of 17,986 m3, comprising Lodgepole Pine (86%), Spruce (6%), Douglas Fir (5%), and Balsam (3%). The licence term is 24 months. The upset stumpage rate is $38.80/m3. This is a bonus bid/scale-based auction, and tenders will only be accepted from individuals or corporations registered as BC Timber Sales enterprises in Category 4 - Value-added. The successful applicant will be required to conform to the BC Timber Sales Environmental Management System and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative standard. Bidders must be certified as SAFE Companies or equivalent. Questions must be submitted in writing to the official contact by September 3, 2026, and the closing date for tenders is September 14, 2026 at 11:00 am.
