Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a firm-fixed-price sole-source requirements contract with a large business for Fresenius 5008X CAREsystem hemodiafiltration units and associated accessories. The requirement includes the primary hemodialysis machine with integrated modules, dialyzers, blood tubing and medication lines, filters, concentrates, saline, blood-pressure components, water and disinfection components, replacement parts, and related consumables. The scope also includes installation and initial clinician training for the primary system, installation of an Accumix tank, water-quality testing kits, formal technician training, and a two-year service agreement covering preventive maintenance, repairs, parts, labor, and travel expenses. The notice is an intent to sole source rather than a request for competitive quotations or proposals; interested parties may submit capability information demonstrating that they can provide all listed line items.
