Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for Olympus endoscopy equipment and comprehensive support for gastroenterology endoscopy lab operations. The requirement includes Olympus scopes, video systems, monitors, accessories, and related electrical equipment, along with delivery, unpacking, installation, configuration, calibration, testing, and verification. The contractor must also provide repair services, loaner equipment within 24 hours, shipping, guidance regarding damage and normal wear, in-service and annual refresher training, reprocessing literature, and annual inventory support. Respondents must identify their business size and socioeconomic status, provide estimated market-research pricing, and, if applicable, submit proof of authorization as an Olympus manufacturer, dealer, distributor, or reseller. The notice states that the Government intends to negotiate solely with Olympus North America Electronic, but responses may be considered in determining the procurement strategy for a future solicitation.
