Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking qualified sources capable of supplying Medtronic 40-405-1 AEX Generators and 30-401-1 Aquamantys Carts, or equal products, on an agency-wide basis. The equipment must support touchscreen operation, dual monopolar and bipolar modalities, at least four user configurations, and cutting and coagulation functions. The generator provides radiofrequency energy to disposable monopolar and bipolar electrosurgical handpieces and includes a rotary peristaltic pump for saline delivery during hemostatic sealing; the cart is associated with the AEX Generator. Responses are for market research only, not bids or proposals. Respondents must provide company and manufacturer information, UEI/CAGE/SAM details, business size, country of origin, national supply capability, technical literature mapping the product to each salient characteristic, service-plan information, and a current OEM-certified authorized distributor letter. A capabilities statement is encouraged but not required. The contemplated acquisition is a single requirements contract with firm-fixed-price orders, consisting of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods.
