Description
The Indian Health Service seeks one new diagnostic ultrasound system for the Kayenta Alternative Rural Hospital. The system must support antenatal, abdominal, pelvic, small-parts, and emergency point-of-care imaging and include at least four transducers, a mobile or compact cart-based configuration, image storage and reporting, printer compatibility, accessories, 2D B-mode, M-mode, color and power Doppler, pulsed-wave Doppler, a 15–21-inch high-resolution monitor, at least two active probe ports, measurement packages, fetal biometry calculations, USB export, and related capabilities. DICOM and battery backup are preferred or optional depending on infrastructure. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision; deliver, remove the existing unit as part of a trade-in arrangement, install, configure, test, and integrate the new system with existing PACS/RIS and RPMS/EHR or other approved clinical systems. The scope includes DICOM networking, security and privacy compliance, on-site operational validation, at least two days of on-site clinical training, technical orientation for biomedical and IT personnel, manuals and technical documentation, a minimum two-year comprehensive warranty with preventive maintenance, service response within 48 hours, and spare-parts availability for at least five to seven years. Required deliverables include an operational system, warranty and maintenance documentation, regulatory compliance certificates, and training completion documentation. Quotes are evaluated using a lowest-price-technically-acceptable approach, with technical acceptability more important than price.
