Description
The Town of Apex is requesting Statements of Qualifications from architectural and engineering firms for final design of Phase 1 of the Downtown Apex Mobility Hub. The selected firm will provide project administration and management, community engagement, stakeholder coordination, transportation planning, architectural and engineering design, survey and geotechnical services, visualizations, construction document development, permitting and plan approvals, construction cost estimating, and exhibits for right-of-way or land acquisition. The design must account for future phases and support the hub's role as a transit transfer facility. The response must be a concise Statement of Qualifications limited to 15 single-sided pages, excluding an optional single-page graphic cover. It must address the firm's understanding and approach, company background and North Carolina license number, proposed staff and key-personnel biographies, similar work completed within the past seven years, financial information and a financial-institution reference, litigation or arbitration history, and potential conflicts of interest. The anticipated period of performance is 12 months from notice to proceed, and selection will be based on qualifications, project approach, and similar-project performance, followed by fee negotiation.
