Description
The City of Longview is soliciting proposals from qualified Washington State-licensed real estate brokers to provide comprehensive brokerage and advisory services for the redevelopment and sale of one City-owned parcel, Parcel No. 053603506, in the Mint Farm area. Required services include serving as the City's owner's broker; valuing, marketing, negotiating, and selling the property; marketing to local, regional, and national prospective buyers; assisting with comparative market valuation reports, appraisals, and broker price opinions; and supporting the City, staff, and legal counsel through contracting and closing. The proposal must include a cover letter, project understanding, proposed scope and schedule, price proposal with commission structure and reimbursable expenses, five project examples with client and reference information, key staff resumes, and responses to specified questions regarding prior work for the City and conflicts of interest. Proposals are limited to 12 pages, must use 11-point font and 1-inch margins, and must be submitted as a PDF by email. The selected broker will enter into a two-year contract with up to three additional one-year renewal terms, for a maximum of five years. Insurance requirements include commercial general liability, automobile liability, errors and omissions, cyber and privacy coverage, and workers' compensation; proof of insurance is required before contract execution.
