Description
Clayton County is soliciting a contractor for as-needed appliance repair and preventative maintenance services. The scope covers refrigerators and freezers, ice machines, microwaves, ovens, ranges, cooktops, dishwashers, warming equipment, beverage machines, food processors, mixers, fryers, steamers, garbage disposals, water coolers, and other kitchen or food-service equipment. Services include troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, inspection, cleaning, sanitizing, adjustment, lubrication, testing, replacement of damaged components, and provision of labor, tools, equipment, refrigerant, materials, and parts. The contractor must respond by phone or email within 24 hours of County contact, provide written itemized estimates before work begins, obtain prior written approval for services, supply trained primary and backup repair personnel, and provide work orders documenting labor, arrival and departure times, and material costs. The contract has an initial one-year term with four successive one-year renewal options. Bidders must submit the required bid forms, licenses, references, insurance documentation, and pricing through the designated electronic bidding portal.
