Description
The U.S. Army is soliciting a firm-fixed-price lease and service agreement for approximately 1,524 top- and front-load washers, 1,310 dryers, and 72 electric combo units, totaling 2,906 coin-free commercial laundry appliances. The contractor must furnish the equipment, labor, parts, materials, transportation, tools, installation, connection and disconnection, relocation, removal and replacement, preventive maintenance, warranty management, and repair services throughout Fort Bliss, its base camps, and outlying training areas. Repairs generally must be completed within 24–48 hours, and quarterly preventive maintenance is required for all units. The requirement includes an eight-day phase-in period, recurring reporting and inventory deliverables, a quality control program, manufacturer-certified technicians for electrical and gas commercial laundry equipment, employee access and background-check requirements, and compliance with installation, safety, and applicable federal, Texas, and New Mexico requirements. The base period runs from October 24, 2026, through October 23, 2027, with four 12-month option years. Quotes must include separate price and technical volumes and demonstrate the ability to mobilize promptly after award.
