Description
The Township of Marlboro Department of Public Works is soliciting electronic bids for as-needed electrical repair work under three possible contract options: facilities excluding water utility sites, water treatment plants and pump stations, or all covered facilities. The scope includes repairing or replacing circuits, breakers, disconnects, wiring, motors, starters, motor-control panels, circuit-breaker panels, athletic-field lighting, parking-lot lighting, and related electrical components up to three-phase, 480 volts. The contractor must provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, testing, cleanup, and rapid mobilization after notification, with specified response times ranging from one to two and one-half hours depending on the time of notification. The contract is anticipated to begin November 1, 2026, for an initial one-year term, with renewal options. Work is ordered as needed under a requirements or standby agreement, and quantities are not guaranteed. Bidders must submit hourly labor rates and material pricing with a 10 percent markup, comply with applicable electrical and public-works requirements, and provide required bid security, surety consent, insurance, registrations, certifications, forms, and electronic bid responses.
