Description
Ysleta Independent School District is soliciting multiple vendors for as-needed maintenance, repair, and minor construction services on district properties. The solicitation includes separate lots for carpentry, concrete placement and finishing, door installation and repair, hardwood and resilient flooring, glass and window installation and replacement, masonry, painting, plumbing, and electrical services. Contractors must furnish labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and management as required by individual purchase orders. Each project may not exceed $99,999, and material costs may be charged at base cost plus an approved markup. Awarded contractors may need to inspect sites and provide written quotes before purchase orders are issued. The solicitation is a multi-year informal RFP with multiple awards made incrementally during the offering period. The initial closing is September 10, 2026, and proposals submitted afterward may be reviewed and awarded periodically until the final deadline of October 31, 2030. Proposals must include applicable licenses or certifications, three references for similar services with contact information, and information on three similar projects completed within the last five years. Work at district sites is subject to safety, identification, background-check, asbestos-awareness, and site-specific safety-plan requirements. A payment bond is required for projects of $25,000 or more when subcontractors are used; payment and performance bonds may also be requested after award.
