Description
The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, and test equipment necessary to perform required testing and inspections for all portable fire extinguishers and the kitchen fire suppression system at Gallup Indian Medical Center. The scope includes annual inspection and replacement of inspection tags for 144 portable dry chemical extinguishers, five carbon dioxide extinguishers, one Halotron extinguisher, and three K-type kitchen extinguishers; semi-annual kitchen fume hood inspections; and hydrostatic testing of extinguishers due for 12-year testing. The contractor must comply with specified NFPA standards, maintain a Certificate of Fitness on file with the New Mexico State Fire Marshal, provide emergency service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and coordinate work with facility personnel. The solicitation requests pricing for a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, with all option periods quoted, plus a capability statement describing relevant experience, qualifications, and ability to perform the work. The solicitation is a total small-business set-aside.
