Description

The Indian Health Service is procuring eight standardized, portable, cart-based point-of-care ultrasound systems: seven for Gallup Indian Medical Center and one for Tohatchi Health Center. All systems must use the same manufacturer and model/platform, with department-specific configurations permitted. The acquisition includes required transducers, including convex, endocavity, high-frequency linear, phased-array/cardiac, general-purpose linear, and one mandatory adult TEE transducer; needle-visualization capability; software, licenses, accessories, documentation, and interoperability with the IHS/VA VistA Imaging and RPMS environments through mandatory DICOM and applicable HL7 functionality. Proposed systems must also meet specified cybersecurity, data-protection, accessibility, battery, mobility, and clinical-application requirements. The contractor must provide delivery within 30 calendar days after receipt of the purchase order, installation, configuration, acceptance support, clinical applications training, warranty and accidental-damage coverage, repair or exchange support, technical assistance, software and cybersecurity updates, and post-warranty service options. Offers must describe the proposed technical solution, deviations or equivalent capabilities, training and implementation approach, support lifecycle, warranty and service model, five-year cost of ownership, and post-warranty pricing. Amendment One extends the quote deadline to September 15, 2026, at 12:00 PM Mountain Time, and requires a signed copy of the amendment with the quote. The amendment also clarifies that the anticipated equipment lifecycle is approximately ten years from Government acceptance, rather than requiring ten years of support after manufacturer end of life.
